It's time for new challenges for the Evan Bros WorldSSP Yamaha, who will be on stage this weekend at the Cremona Circuit, for the ninth round of the season. The track - located about 130 kilometres from Milan - represents the big news of the 2024 calendar, as well as the second home round for the team after Misano.
At Misano Valentin Debise achieved a splendid podium, and the aim is to chase the same results at Cremona as well. The Frenchman is fresh from a complicated round at Magny - Cours, where his speed was not rewarded by results, but confidence remains high. In fact Debise is in fourth position in the championship standings, with 162 points.
In Race 1 there will be a further obstacle for Valentin, who will have to serve a Long Lap Penalty for the accident with Mahias in Race 2 in France. The weekend in Cremona will start on Friday morning with the only free practice session available, while in the afternoon it will already be Superpole time. Saturday and Sunday will see the staging of Race 1 and Race 2, both at 15.15 CET.

Valentin Debise
“It’s exciting to race a second round at home for the team, where there will be many fans and friends. Unfortunately I will have to serve a long lap, but I don't think it will be a big problem: the aim is to be fast right from the start. The test in Cremona was positive, so I want to erase the difficulties of Magny - Cours with a great weekend”.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal)
"The test we did in June was very encouraging, as well as useful to get to know the track, since we did there just a few laps during our history. It is a track that suits Valentin's riding style, and I think he will be fight for top positions again”.
