First day in the archives for the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team, with good feelings and a result that instils good vibes and optimism. In the Catalan Superpole in fact Valentin Debise was able to obtain seventh place, applying himself for a leading role in Race 1.
In the morning the French rider took to the track for the only free practice session available where, together with the team, he worked with a view to the race, putting together a high number of laps on the same tyres and finishing the session in 25th position.
In the afternoon it was time for Superpole, with Debise managing well the 40 minutes available, as well as putting together a really good lap, which earned him seventh place on the grid for Race 1. Tomorrow at 9.50 Valentin and the Evan Bros. WorldSSP Yamaha Team will be back on track for the Warm Up, while at 15.15 the lights will go out for Race 1, lasting 18 laps.

"The start of the day was a bit slow, but the team found some solutions to improve, so I was able to take P7 in Superpole. My race pace is not bad, but in Barcelona the most important thing is tyre management. I don't set myself a target, but I will certainly give it everything from start to finishâ.
