The 2020 line-up of the BARDAHL Evan Bros. WorldSSP Team, which will face the Supersport World Championship with the precious effigy of reigning world champion team, was officially presented tonight at the "Faina" Snack Bar Restaurant.
To do the honours was the Team Principal of the structure Fabio Evangelista, assisted by the crew chief Mauro Pellegrini, who will lead a tested team ready to confirm itself at the top of the championship.
In front of many friends, partner and guests the Yamaha YZF-R6's 2020 livery was unveiled, in line in many ways with the previous one, which brought so much luck and success.
To physically discover the bike was obviously Andrea Locatelli, called to defend the colors of the BARDAHL Evan Bros. WorldSSP Team in his first season in the Supersport Championship, after the six formative seasons spent between Moto3 and Moto2 and the excellent things shown in the pre-season tests.
The appointment is now set for February 24th, when the last two days of testing in preparation for the season will start at the Phillip Island circuit, which will officially start on Sunday March 1st on the same Australian track.
Fabio Evangelista (Team Principal): "We're ready for the new season and eager to get started. During the winter we have worked at our best, perhaps it has been our best winter in terms of growth: we have an undoubtedly valid package. I'm sure Andrea will have his say for the top positions already in Phillip Island, and then fight for the title until the end of the season".
Andrea Locatelli: "I'm very happy to be part of this team, all the guys really put their hearts into everything they do and this can only lead to something positive. We will soon start to get serious, but I have no doubt that things will go well, as we are all working and improving for a common target. I hope to be fast from the first race, I am ready to give my all to make this a winning combination".
